A & B Grade Autumn and Spring Pennant
are held each year with a maximum of 40 players in each grade.
-
There is also usually a Summer
(Jan/Feb) and Winter (June/July) social competition which lasts 4 - 6
weeks. These comps are primarily social nights with an opportunity to
learn the game in a non competitive atmosphere. More experienced players
also use this time to get in some match practice before the Autumn and
Spring pennants commence the week following the end of the social comp.
-
A Grade Pennant Squash is
played at 7pm each Tuesday night and B Grade 7pm Wednesday nights (subject
to sufficient numbers).
-
Pennant Squash is usually played
between 8 teams and 2 rounds against each of the other 7 teams. This is
then followed by two weeks of finals.
-
The club room is usually a hive of
activity after each nights competition with supper and drinks available
to both players and spectators.
-
Spectators and new players are always welcome. If you are considering
joining one of our competitions then please come along on a Tuesday night and ask for the club captain or
contact the club for
more information.
-
Squash is played as a "graded competition". You will be placed
against players who most closely match your level and experience.
-
Fees for each pennant (Autumn and
Spring)
are approx $100 for adults and $50 for students/juniors. Social comps are
usually charged on a nightly basis and are approx $7/night. An annual
affiliation fee is also charged which is $35 for adults and $24 for
juniors. The affiliation fee is charged from the 1st January each year
for the first pennant or tournament you participate in.
